11th October Bristol Avon piking and a little fun.

I was in the deepest South West when the SMS came from Andy Cowley saying do I fancy an afternoon out on the river. I was on my way back up the motorway when I remembered this and got the better half to phone him. Well I never I soon got that special pass that allow me to drop her off and get on the river. We were going to have a go for the pike where we have seen some whackers.

I was soon up there with Andy, however I said that I would complete some video of him catching a fish or two. We chatted feed a swim or two to see if the chub and barbel were around.

Slowly we walked downstream where we spotted a pike in mid river near some cabbages. Now I’m not reckoned to be very good with a camcorder, but I’m trying my best and promise to improve. Don’t know how it will turn out but hey it’s no monster. I’ve got this feeling I need glasses, as I nearly miss the take…….more practice needed. ha ha

Soon after this I needed to leave on an emergency call that took me back to the deepest South West for the evening. So no fishing for me.
