December 21st Interesting
Well with the fishing taking a bit of a back seat due to the terrible -4c daytime temperature, snow falling and blocking roads. It’s unusual for the southwest to be hit so hard with the cold weather. Visits to the river have been few and the lakes well I would be better off taking my skates and taking to the ice…….Ooop’s politically correctness says please don’t try this!!!!!
I found one interesting thing on the Our River web site and the voting for the best river in England. And of course there is the worst one.
I’m not going to tell you all on here, only just ask you to visit this site. It’s worth reading
Even better is a video of the winner by Hugh Miles which is splendid which is about 5 minutes long. You may need to pause it for a while so the data catches up.
