Very late putting blogs online Normal service is resumed.
Wow I’ve not posted too many blogs over the last couple of months however that needs to change. I have been fishing mostly on the H.Avon and some guiding on the D.Stour. Time has flown by. The last time I wrote on here I was on my 6th chub of 6lbs plus for the season. Since that time I have moved up to my 14th yesterday on the 16th October. My goodness those chub on the Avon are growing each year. There are so many 6lbers and a good few 7lbers to be caught. It’s got to be a matter of time before an 8lber puts in an appearance for sure. I suppose last year Simon my friend from Oxford had that 7lbs 13oz chub which was magnificent and will this fish put on more weight?
The summer from August was wet and the river came up with a few thunderstorms and the fishing improved. The weed then was luxurious and still growing and the chub fishing believe it not became difficult. The barbel fishing really started to pick up with some huge fish and a magnificent 15lbs 3oz barbel for my mate Andy (you should have been here yesterday) Cowley.
However more of that later.
I have had a major difficulty with my blog and the photo’s within it. I had a software update that has reset the pixel sizes in the photo’s from Jan 2019 so I’ve had to go back and change them all. This took ages and I’m hoping in the next software update they will sort themselves out.
I have also completed some video work which I’ve started on my video blog or vlog as they call it. It’s all work on my youtube channel. I’ll put the links up on here.
Just to set things up here and get the blog going is a photo of Andy’s 15lb 3oz barbel.
